Columbia, MO – Each of our lives is a great experiment, yet so often we internalize our pain and frustration, we forget we can only control to the end of our nose. Sue McDaniel is the author of I.M. Heart, a guide to understanding ourselves: our feelings, our actions and our ability to heal.

“It’s about opening your heart in a loving way to those around you,” says McDaniel. “Instead of connecting to each other through fear, we can connect through love.”

The book invites readers on a remarkable journey of self-discovery, guiding us through the process of forgiveness and healing. McDaniel was inspired to create I.M. Heart after observing the challenges faced by others. Her hope is that this book can make a positive difference.

“Forgiveness is probably the greatest thing we can do for ourselves,” says McDaniel. “People are so confused about that. They don’t understand it’s not just for the other person. It’s for you. The anger, the resentment, the pain from that experience can stop you from moving forward in your life.”

McDaniel believes that deep down, everyone is I.M Heart because everyone feels. I.M. Heart is the voice within us helping each of us to reconcile our feelings with our actions. Feelings are what bind us together. If we can better understand our feelings, we can close the space between us.

I.M. Heart offers so many simple lessons for living,” says McDaniel. “And it’s written in such a way that it’s not hidden from you. It’s about reaching acceptance and understanding. You can’t depend on someone else for healing. It begins and ends with you.”
