Close-Up Talk Radio Spotlights Dr. William L. Barney

Through years of dedication and extensive knowledge, Dr. William L. Barney has become a staple of the educational system at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Barney has spent the majority of his career as a professor in the UNC department of history. His focus of study is in 19 Century U.S. history, more specifically the time of secession and the Civil War.

Along with establishing himself as a well-respected professor, Dr. Barney has authored and co-authored numerous historical works and textbooks. His works have been featured and studied in schools across the country.
