Helen Olian has been a passionate writer since the age of eight. Fascinated by animals, Helen wrote countless stories for her own viewing. After suffering a serious accident and becoming wheelchair bound, Helen decided to turn her passion into magnificent tales for all to see.

Helen was born in Chicago and earned a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1978, Helen relocated to New Mexico. “I spent the majority of time writing. For the longest time I didn’t think to release them. It was something I just loved doing,” says Olian.

Over her professional career Helen has completed 13 books of various themes, 8 of which are “doggie” themed including The Doggy Trip. Helen’s most successful work to date is The Aliens, which was featured on a list of top 100 bestsellers on www.amazon.com. “This is such a tremendous honor to be able to do what I love and see people appreciate it. I write animal themed rhyme verse books for children and it’s exciting to see their reactions at book signings,” exclaims Olian.

Helen’s books are wonderfully illustrated and easily relatable to children ages eight and up. The series of books are available at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com to name a few.

In Part 4, Helen further discusses her writings and plans for future works. For more information about Helen Olian email helenolian@aol.com.
