Bashir Suba believes in serving his community. His service has proven to be greatly appreciated time and time again. Located in the heart of New York City on Broadway, Suba Pharmacy has become a cherished staple in one of the largest cities in the world.

Born and raised in Pakistan with aspirations to overcome his poor economic situation in Pakistan, Suba worked hard in school to become a Pharmacist. After receiving his Bachelor’s from Punjab University, he relocated to America and earned his Master’s degree from Long Island University’s Brooklyn College of Pharmacy.

After apprenticeships and paying his professional dues, Suba became the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. After 10 years of service with the medical center, Suba was passed over for the Director position and decided to move on.

Suba found himself working part-time for Armstead Pharmacy. Hard work and dedication paid off for Suba when he became a partner and eventually the sole owner of the one hundred year old pharmacy. Suba changed the name and massively renovated and rejuvenated the once out of date store.

Suba’s approach to business is simple. “I want to help people. People who choose to use your services deserve your full attention and respect. It becomes a mutual respect when you go above and beyond for your customers,” says Suba.

Suba’s generous practices of helping customers whether financially or supplying them with correct medication information, have truly earned Suba Pharmacy a dedicated and loyal following. His customer base has come together a number of times to show support by boycotting bigger chains moving in and signing petitions to prevent eviction, Suba is extremely grateful for his customers.
