Danielle LaRoche King, is a proud Maryland Terrapin, who has had the opportunity to coach soccer at Howard University, Binghamton University and George Mason as an assistant and was the Head Women’s soccer coach at Cornell University for five years. LaRoche King is a NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy graduate. As well as coaching at the college level, she has spent her career coaching youth teams and helping students navigate the college recruiting process.  

LaRoche King started her Athletic Administration career at Ithaca City School District and now is the Director of Athletics at a K-12 Independent school in New York City. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in African American Students and a Masters in Science in Sports Administration from State University of New York – Cortland.

She is an experienced Athletic Director with a demonstrated history of working in the primary/secondary education industry. Her skillset includes: Event Planning, Sports Management, Coaching, Secondary Education, and Classroom Management. LaRoche King is well-known in the secondary school setting as being a strong community and social services professional who specializes in leadership development, and enjoys advising students and running student affinity spaces.
