Leah Richmond-Dye is a youth sports franchise owner and compliance officer. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Chemistry from Hampton University (HU) in 2011. As a member of the HU Lady Pirates track team, she played an instrumental role in the 2007- 2011 championship seasons and earned All-MEAC honors in 2009 and 2010. She earned a Masters in Sports Leadership through Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018.
Leah has spent nearly a decade dedicating herself to the physical, mental, social and emotional development of student-athletes. Alongside her husband, Cordereau Dye, she serves as the Co-owner of Amazing Athletes Hampton Roads, a sports-based physical fitness franchise for kids. During her tenure, the Hampton Roads territory has been nominated for Franchise Rookie of the Year amongst the Amazing Athletes Franchise Systems, one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500. Prior to the pandemic, the franchise was honored with a bronze enrollment award for attaining over 500 children in a single territory.
Leah has served in collegiate administrative roles at HU and East Carolina University. Recently, she was the Director of Compliance at HU and served on several intake committees to help streamline departmental initiatives with campus constituents while also serving as lead facilitator on the NCAA Data Review.
She and her husband reside in Hampton, VA and have a daughter, Wynter.
