CCC goes for a presidential run with American Gadfly director Skye Wallin

In 2019 a group of New York teens took a good, hard look around the country and they found themselves discouraged at the state of the union. While researching politicians who might share their same beliefs and values they came across retired Alaskan Senator Mike Gravel and through the use of social media somehow convinced him to give the presedential race another go. Mr. Gravel was a progressive, forward thinking senator who was considered "ahead of his time" in regards to the LGBQT rights, marijuana legalization, war issues and civil rights. He is well known for reading the Pentagon Papers in session when the government refused to give the media access to the information. The 2020 race was not the the first time he had put in a bid for the Oval Office but the approach sure was different. Twitter played a huge part in the race as well as the three teens working tirelessly on the campaign using a grassroots approach and technology.

We sadly lost Mr. Gravel in 2021 but he was able to see the documentary and the three teens now work with the Gravel Institute carrying on his dreams and values.
