As we continue in our series looking into Pastor Gipp’s book: "An Understandable History of the Bible" please remember these key points:

Unrepentant man is prideful and The Bible is a spiritual book which God says He both supernaturally inspired and preserved.

The 1800’s spawned a mindset that was anti God and anti Bible.  Along with the likes of Charles Darwin and Adam Smith we see the emergence of two unfaithful  “””Bible Scholars””” named Westcott and Hort.

They absolutely hated the KJV and deviated from their charter from the Church of England to update the language of the KJV.  So they literally diced and sliced the KJV Bible and more on that today!  

Plus they introduced the flawed concept of Modern Biblical Textural Criticism which contends that older is better, no matter where the manuscript was found!.  

Now this stinkin thinkin started what Pastor Gipp refered to as the 100 year war where Christians argued with fellow Christians as to what and where the Bible is!

Join us as we get back to Westcott and Hort for a moment and their assignment from the Church of England and then we'll talk a little about location, yes LOCATION!
