SDG 410 St James Teaches on Prayer -

James 4:1–10

In this message we’ll look at what The Holy Spirit inspired James to teach us about fervent prayerr.

Now this teaching on fervent prayer is VERY real and valid, God doesn't  work through our prayers according to a whim, there are definite laws that must be followed to get our prayers answered.

Now as you grow in The LORDship of Jesus Christ the time will come, if it hasn't already when God answering your prayers will mean more to you than anything else in the entire world.

So, in our focus scripture James is teaches us all about prayer and he asks the question: “From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?”

In other words...

If people can’t get along with other people, it’s because they can’t get along with themselves.  If they fight outwardly, it’s because they're fighting inwardly.

Here James is intensely practical, he's not a theoretician or a philosopher, but rather a very practical teacher.

He's talking about a very needful matter: the CRUCIAL matter of prayer.

Join us as we study these three essential truths that emerge from these 10 verses, as we look at the.

I. The Unasked Prayer of a Struggling Man

II. The Unanswered Prayer of a Selfish Man

III. The Unhindered Prayer of a Spiritual Man
