1 John 5:5–13

The truth is that God doesn't owe us anything especially explanations. Besides they wouldn’t do natural man any good, because if He explained, we still couldn't understand. So asking God to explain would be like asking Aristotle to explain philosophy to your dog. Put bluntly, as natural man we're not going to understand the ways of God. His ways are above our ways, so we merely trust and obey and don't try to live by explanations; instead we live by promises, amen? And one of the great promises, of the Bible is that we can know, that we know, that we know that we’re saved, in other words: heaven-born and heaven-bound.

Somebody once said, “If you could be saved and not know it, then you could lose it and not miss it.” So The truth of the matter is that we can know, beyond a shadow of any doubt that we are saved by His power divine AKA grace and GRACE ALONE.

In fact the Bible says: Romans 11:6 KJV And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

The truth is that there are only two classes in the world and you're either in one category or the other. Now you may be thinking “Well, I’m not entirely saved or I gotta work hard because I might loose it."

No, the truth is that there's nobody only half saved.  To be half saved is to be altogether and entirely lost. So either you are saved or you are lost.  Now you may be thinking "Well only God can say who’s saved.”, and you’re right about that, and so that’s what today's message is all about!

So tune in to discover what God says on the matter of the surety of our salvation!
