Matthew 5:7
Jesus said in Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
In this message, the fifth in our beatitude series we'll look into this quality known as mercy.
Now mercy is much more than compassion, it's actually compassion in action, and one of the most beautiful characteristics of God.
But just suppose that we only received mercy to the degree that we gave it?
Ok....so this mercy that we are talking about today isn't softness or sentiment, but rather compassion in action; but why then does Jesus say that it's one of the most important things that we can have in our lives?
Well be sure to tune into this very important message as we dive into the majesty of mercy and learn what it is, what it isn't and why we must not only have it but also share it! Remember these beatitudes are attitudes for altitude; quite literally keys to the Kingdom.
