SDG 241 Fact, Faith and Function AKA Know, Reckon and Yield

Romans 6:1-19

If you want liberated living because you are tired of being a slave to sin, Satan and society then this message is for you!

There’s a truth contained in this chapter of Paul’s letter to the Roman’s that the devil doesn’t want us to understand because it’s the key to living the abundant Christian life.

And it can be summed up in three words: faith, fact and function or as Paul said know, reckon and yield (Romans 6;6,11,13).

So there’s something to know and that’s our identity, there’s something to reckon and that’s what is already ours to appropriate and then there’s someone who must yield and that’s our enslavement.  Yes we must become bondservants to Jesus Christ.

And we yield to Christ by dethroning sin, enthroning the Savior and then enslaving the saint, but look out because with this yielding comes an entirely  new freedom, a new faithfulness and a new fruitfulness.

So would you like to have a fruitful life, would you like to be free from Satan and faithful to God as you bear fruit in the things of God?
