SDG 210 The Believers Baptism -

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Wow now how simple is that???

You know one's outcome is often determined by how they begin and here we see that at the beginning of every new believer's walk with Jesus is the command to follow Jesus Christ in baptism.

And that means to be symbolically buried to the old life and raised to walk in newness of life. This study shows the importance of starting out walking in obedience to Christ.
