Revelation 4:1-5 and 6:1–8

Right now our eyes should be focused upwards as we look for the soon return of Jesus. In the Middle East, The US has just shifted its allegiance from Israel to Iran with the signing of this horrible Nuclear Deal and then agrees to teach Iran how to avoid sabotage from Israel! A few weeks ago the Supreme Court tells God they know better than He does what a marriage is. And then Planned Parenthood is caught red handed harvesting organs from babies who were pithed (murdered) by partial birth abortion.

We need to be praying Maranatha because this world has become a seething cauldron of trouble pointing to the Second Coming of the LORD Jesus Christ. So we need to be ready, but we don’t need to be fearful. Sorrow looks back, worry looks all around; but hope looks up, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is our blessed hope.

When Jesus Christ comes again those who have already died in the LORD will be raised from their graves, to meet their sprits in the air and our LORD. And those of us who are truly saved and still living will then be miraculously transformed, given a glorified body, and be caught up to meet the LORD in the air.

This is the rapture of the Bride: our heavenly homecoming. We are on a collision course with destiny and we cannot afford to be ignorant. So now we enter into the third division found in the Book of the Revelation. Remember John was told to write things which he had seen: The Revelation of Jesus.  The the things which are: The Report Cards of the 7 Churches and finally things which shall be hereafter.

So beginning here in Revelation 4:1 it's very clear that we’re entering into the third division: The things which shall be hereafter.  Stay tuned as we look a the 7 W’s of the Rapture: What, Who, When, Why (pre)Wrath, Wait, and Work
