SDG 151 Marks of the True Believer

1 John 2:3-11

When we get born again and are heaven-bound, God stamps some indelible marks on us and these are the marks of the true believer.  

God wants me to tell you that if you don't find these marks stamped on you then you need to ask yourself, "Have I ever really been born again and am I actually heaven-bound?"

Because it's one thing to talk religion; and it's another thing to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
 

In this message we will look three of the marks of a true believer described by John in our focus scripture:

1. A true believer SUBMITS to the LORDship of Jesus Christ
2. A true believer SEEKS the Lifestyle of Jesus Christ (honesty, purity and righteousness).
3. A true believer SHOWS the love of Jesus Christ
