SDG 80 Obedience is Crucial in Spiritual Warfare

Acts 5:32 … And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.

Do you realize that we are in the middle of a multi-dimensional war where Lucifer’s clashing with our most high God? Now the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but high and mighty unto the tearing down of strongholds!

Yet western culture under the scientific dictatorship that we covered in SDG message 73 has brainwashed most people including Christians to scoff at the notion of a 4th dimension and beyond.

But in truth that’s where Christians are supposed to wage this war with The Holy Ghost as our ally who’s given to whoever obeys God!

Now remember that Jude warned us that the gospel of grace was perverted by the sons of Belial into licentiousness and why? So we would be ill-equipped to wage war in the heavenlies and be of no effect in the Kingdom.

Remember this is spiritual warfare and we are supposed to bind and loose, we were given the keys to the Kingdom, yet how many Holy Spirit filled heavenly Christian warriors do you know?

Men and women like those in the early church like the apostles, Priscilla and Aquila and others from whose hands were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; and who were all with one accord.

So when you look in to the mirror, do you see yourself as a warrior in this spirit realm?  From whose hands were wrought many signs and wonders among the people?

Well, I believe from personal experience that it all depends on whether you are following the incredibly relevant and sound advice found in that old song that goes like this:

“Trust and obey, for there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey."

And that’s the focus of this message today – obedience which is crucial in spiritual warfare.
