SDG 39 Our New Identity with Christ

1 John chapter 4 verse 17

Last week we looked at the anatomy of temptation and the week before we were encouraged to wage war with sin and win

And this week we will learn the key to resisting temptation and achieving victory over sin

This is perhaps the one key to victory that Satan AKA Lucifer as he goes about in the churches with his ministers as angels of light does NOT want the son's of God, that's us to know!!!

Let me start with a question:

Did you know that as “true believers” Jesus became one with us, that we might become one with Him?  But notice I said MIGHT become one with Him!!!

It’s true! Yet few believers do, because they lack understanding in a large part because of those sneaky "angels of light", also known as "the men of renown” from Gen 6:4, and the men who crept into the churches unawares, the men of condemnation from Jude 4...

But as sons of God...

We must KNOW;  when He died, we died with Him. His resurrection had our name on it.
We must KNOW;  when He rose, we rose with Him. And His victory had our name on it.
AND, we must KNOW; when He won the victory, so did we!
