SDG 38 The Anatomy of Temptation

James 1:12-15

It all began here on earth in the Garden of Eden when the serpent said to Eve:  

“You will not surely die.  For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5

This message reveals the anatomy of temptation and shows how to break out of this sad cycle of bait and hook used by sinister Satan, sick society and sinful self….

Now there are 3 points we can learn from this passage in the Book of James about "The Anatomy of Temptation".  Understanding them will reveal our sinful nature.

And then integrating them into our life will give us victory over sin!

1) Temptation is a Definite possibility 
 

2) Divine temptation is an impossibility

3) Temptation comes with a direct responsibility

Temptation begins with...
a) courtship then it continues only by….
b) consent  and then results in a…..
c) conception  and then finally it ends in a sorry
d) completion  DEATH!!!
