SDG 30 The Cup The Crown and The Cross

Luke 22:39-47, Matthew 27:26-31, 1 Peter 3:18

In this message leading us up to the Resurrection, we will learn what was in the bitter cup that Jesus drank from in the Garden of Gethsemane, what went along with that thorny crown, and what He truly bore on the cross at Calvary.

 FIRST: The Cup

THEN: The Crown

AND FINALLY: The Cross

God devised these means so that His banished be not separated from Him so Jesus drank that bitter cup, wore that thorny crown and bore that painful cross dying for you and me!!!  

Oh the love that thought it. 

Oh the grace that brought it.
