Trisha has always written. As a child, she was severely abused by a mentally ill, drug-addicted mom. Her escape was writing. It was the one thing I had control over, so I never tried to publish. As an adult, I have thrived with a loving, stable family, college education, and a career at a university. But when I turned 43 years old in April 2019, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. So I sent out my writing not thinking anything would come of it. In a year, I have been published in over 40 publications. Her short story Where We Meet has been nominated for Best of the Net Anthology 2019.
