Adrienne has had enough of being emotionally abused. For over 20 years, Adrienne accepted that being part of a family business came with insults. and mistreatment.   Consistently being told that "No one liked me, no one respects me, and no one can work with me," and there was never a way that I could defend myself without sounding lame.  It got to the point that even my father's secretary, last May a month after my father passed, began to use the same words.   What I did know was that it was not true, and I knew this because I worked hard to learn and understand leadership and how to be likable.  

 They wanted to damage me, and though I carry the scars and reliving the stories raises my blood pressure, they are not winning at this crude game.   Calling them all out on the carpet with the publishing of the book has helped to make my life easier.    My friends and many coworkers watched this happen for years and tried to make me feel better, but even they felt defeated.  Now, I am finally getting the support I need and learning that working with narcissism is a daily struggle.
