Welcome to the #1 show on blogtalk!!! Today, Brian and Ellen welcome into the studio, chef, Scott Mash. Mr Mash will be here, talking about POV Italian Cooking, his YouTube channel, website, Simply Good Food TV (app that hosts his cooking videos along with videos from other cooks) .

Scott's family describes him as an awesome cook, struggling comedian, super geek, and grouchy technician.  While his professional background is in technology, and his day job is working as a healthcare regulatory IT consultant.  But, Scott's heart is in the kitchen and he love's cooking Italian food.  "I’m not a chef and have no professional training, I am a self-taught home cook. As I was learning to cook, I struggled to find a resource that covered the techniques used by seasoned cooks and chefs.  I acquired most of my techniques and experience from trial and error, but also from watching tons of videos and reading a lot of cookbooks. After several months of cooking and practicing techniques, I thought, perhaps, if I were to film when I cook, I might be able to help others who want to learn more than just a recipe.  That single thought evolved into POV Italian Cooking (Italian cuisine and cooking from my point of view) and I started a YouTube channel to share my journey, experiences, techniques, and screw ups. I’m a regular guy whose mission is to share recipes with experienced cooks and to teach the inexperienced everything I have learned so they, too, can cook mouth-watering, authentic Italian meals, made from scratch with fresh ingredients."
