Fifty-three percent of women said they would break up with their significant other if they get nothing for Valentine’s Day, according to WalletHub.
The report said Americans will spend $19.7 billion on Valentine’s Day this year, and Cupid’s Day is the third-largest consumer holiday in the United Sates.
According to WalletHub, Mother’s Day is No. 2 on the list ($21.2 billion) but nothing can compare with the Holidays at $630.5 billion.
The website also said Americans will spend $146.84 on average for Valentine’s Day this year, and 14 million proposals are made on Valentine’s Day.
