Multiple systems are disrupted during any brain trauma. There are so many things that we can choose to work on to heal, that it's easy to get lost. This podcast will discuss several different strategies we can choose  - non-conventional ways -  to improve the health of the body, or of only one specific aspect of our health, as we choose.

Emily Annis a previous guest on this show (discussing her stroke and her website)  and she will revisit us tonight talking about her particular interest - essential oils. This is something else she is passionate about and the healing effects are widespread and cover many categories.

I will talk about chiropractic care, as that is something I have found is a huge help to me and many others who have experienced physical or emotional traumas. One of the big problems we see in our office is anxiety disorders among people who have had head injuries of some sort. That is something that can be explored and discussed.

Another problem we often encounter is depression. Bob Woolery (my husband, who is also a head injury survivor) will discuss fighting depression through action, a survival skill he has learned and practiced throughout the years. He has found that any tangible accomplishment can lift depression.

In past episodes, I've discussed, meditation, reiki massage, medical marijuana, upper cervical chiropractic, legal intervention. For different people, they can each be effective. I would love to get more ideas for healing myself and others.

Anyone else?
