In January 2013 Jack Severson sustained a TBI in a slopestyle (ski) competition  in Park City, UT, while attempting a double back flip. He was transported to Primary Children’s Hospital with several broken ribs, pelvis, collarbone and a serious head injury.

Jack survived, completely recovered, and went back to skiing, competing and learning new tricks.  Jack graduated high school from the Winter Sports School and currently attends Western Washington University.  We are going to find out some ways Jack looked at his brain injury with a Growth mindset and learned how to overcome this struggle.
