To end this month segment, we are having again TWO inspirational guests!
To start the show off, our first guest is Dr. Stuart Silberman that in 2007 was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident and suffered a brain injury. Which the lingering effects of the injury threatened his career, cognition and routine daily functioning. But, thanks to his determination is now a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Oregon having earned his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Forensic Psychology.
To follow that inspirational first segement, we are having: Jessica Lo who recently graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with degrees in Biochemistry and Neurobiology. She now works at the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington, interacting with brain-injured individuals from all around the state while advocating for increased public awareness of brain injury.
