In today's fast-paced society, we are all running and scrambling to maintain our equilibrium and remain at our highest personal level. Ellen Simonin will be on the show to answer questions about the role stress plays in our daily lives and the ways we deal with everyday anxiety. She currently serves as an educator for a healthcare company - pharmanex. They teach personal responsibility for our healthcare choices.

Ms. Simonin has done some counseling in the field as a stress manager. In this area, she addresses the individual triggers for a less than healthy response, and helps us incorporate new strategies to deal more effectively with life. Since this is something all humans experience to a certain degree, we can all benefit from her advice to live a happier and healthier life.

One way to maintain our highest personal lifestyle is to monitor our level of antioxidants. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals in our bodies that are caused by toxins in our food, air, other environmental sources, and stress. Antioxidants are found naturally in the darker fruits and veggies. People may eat a diet rich in antioxidants, but if the debris of undigested fiber and/or food additives has collected in the filtering organs, even the best food and supplements cannot get through. This also applies to digestive problems such as IBS, Colitis, or Diverticulosis.

Thus to manage stress, we have to both eat and live correctly.
