Return-To-Learn - Learn the ins and outs of Return-to-Learn protocols when heading back to school after suffering a concussion. Join me as I welcome Brenda Eagan Brown, MEd, CBIS to talk about what is involved in RTL protocol, how to get your school team involved, RTL legislation, strategies for college accommodations and a host of other RTL issues. 

Brenda has worked in the field of pediatric traumatic brain injury for the past 22 years. She currently directs a statewide brain injury school consulting program, is an adjunct professor at The George Washington University, and is obtaining her doctorate at Johns Hopkins University in Mind, Brain & Teaching.. Brenda is published in the field of concussion in schools, presents nationally/ internationally, and has served on expert panels for both the CDC & IOM committees. She spearheaded the development of the Return to Learn Concussion Management Team Model in her state, training over 1,300+ school district academic focused concussion teams since 2013.
