My guest February 25,  2017, is David Lyons.

David has recently started a book tour for his recent book on multiple sclerosis, "Everyday Health and Fitness With MS," https://www.quartoknows.com/books/9781592337415/Everyday-Health-and-Fitness-with-Multiple-Sclerosis.html and is working on the http://www.msfitnesschallenge.com/ and at http://www.optimalbodypf.com/

He is on a mission to teach people with MS why exercise will only help you in your disease. I am so very pleased that he is able to come on the show with us and share his knowledge and his story. It is going to prove to be an amazing show. Don't miss out!

My name is Lisa Dryer and I have been on the Brain Injury Radio Network as a guest and as a host for two years now.  When I was a child, I endured learning difficulties and had a seizure disorder. This was caused by the cardiac arrest and the lack of oxygen to my brain as a premature infant in the Neonatal Care Unit. Until I was an adult, I finally realized that what I thought was a "learning disability" was actually a brain injury. I had been struggling with awkward health difficulties for a while. Then I had a CT scan, where I laughed when it showed an abnormal brain reading and said“I know I am abnormal already! Tell me something I don’t know!” Then, they told me I had M.S.  It is one of the most serious health complications there are! But...

From my first interview on Brain Injury Talk Radio, I have said that my outlook was, "the Find the beautiful around you and stay calm.” That kind of outlook is where my idea for the grassroots #MSbeautiful came from. It is how I find my guests to this day! I look for people with positive stories who have something to share with the world despite and because of their MS! We are heroes anyways! We have MS -- it doesn't have us!
