During the holiday season many people with MS, Brain Injury, TBI, Autoimmune diseases, depression, addictions, and mental disorders feel alone. They can feel hopeless, scared, unsure of how they got to that point in their lives or where they are going from there.

I want to have this broadcast of, "Mess With M.S.," to be a Holiday Party for anyone who is feeling disinfranchised this Holiday Season.

Let us talk about what we most love, like and dislike about the Holidays in the Past and Present. Let's Talk!  Those that are to come, and why!

PERHAPS we should focus both on living in the moment (while) dreaming about what can positively happen in the future! That is right! The Holiday Season is a MAGICAL time of year and I said that you should give yourself permission to be POSITIVE!

Tonight I will be explaining the roots of the holidays we celebrate, talking to anyone who cares to call in, speaking of my best and worst holiday's, sharing tips and tricks from others, AND since I have fully accepted being sick and realizing what the confines of my life within being sick are....I have changed the expectations of myself. But, there is still SO MUCH that I can do as a “sick person,” and that involves reaching out to others in my community.  The #sickkid community. We are people who live on the edges, in some ways.

This includes on the HOLIDAYS. When I was a little girl, there was nothing greater for me than this time of year. Do I still feel that way? Do any of us still feel that way?

I would love the focus to be on our community and how it needs such Holiday Tidings!

Giving gives YOU the most and most often doesn't cost a dime.

Let's Celebrate our Uniqueness!
