Dream Catchers - It’s OK to be DIFFERENT! - LesPaul Morgan

After I started coming out of my lost and lonely self after surviving a ruptured Brain Aneurism caused by a rather large AVM in my brain I really felt like I didn’t belong anywhere anymore because the old me was gone and the new me was but a shell of a lost and almost obliterated past.

I was lost in my head and I couldn’t seem to find my way out or maybe was too afraid and confused to even try to discover the new me but my dear Mom and Brothers wouldn’t allow me to surrender no matter how hard or painful life felt like it was to me.

I only wish my Family and I would have had the resources, peer support, and advocacy, that the Brain Injury Radio Network has at our finger tips and all the amazing hosts or the 1st Day I began volunteering to form a support group at Walton Options when I couldn’t see what they saw in me which was a survivor wanting to make a difference if only someone would give me a chance and teach me how.

Like in tonight’s show title it’s ok to be different in fact it’s really cool and amazing now to see myself and others strive to thrive and live life to our fullest and to the best of our abilities!!!
