This Veteran's Day, my guest will be Thomas E. Burke, Ambassador Purple Heart Veterans of FL. Mr. Burke, a long time veterans advocate has been committed and continues to be  a staunch supporter for all Veterans in many areas of Health & Well Being. Mr. Burke is very much involved with the Purple Heart Veterans of FL. Mr. Burke was recently awarded A Distinguished Service Award by the MOPH Department of Florida for his service to Purple Heart Veterans and their families. This is the highest award that can be bestowed by the Order with exception of The Purple Heart.  See: www.lifewavefl.com Look under "Giving Back" tab.

Joining him will be Commander Richard Hunt, President of Purple Hearts FL. He's a  Viet Nam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient himself. Also joining us, is Lt. Col Heidi Hoyt (USAF Ret 26yrs), formerly Chief Nurse at Hulburt Field and on the Executive Staff of Special Operations Medical Group, where she cared for many patients with TBI.

This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."

We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers.

The front half of show is a featured guest (s). The second part of the show is Open Mic and some great Indy Music, sure to inspire! Host is Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at www.inaflash.org & "Like" at www.facebook.com/inaflash.org and www.facebook.com/braininjuryradionetwork
