William Jarvis was on the TMDS 'back in the day', where we discussed "The Jarvis Method" of TBI Recovery at home each and every day.  Dr. Jarvis has developed the Jarvis Rehabilitation Method (JRM) in 2008 to create internal motivation to improve after a brain injury.   Dr. Jarvis was in hospitals for eighteen months and has used these strategies for many years after his own severe TBI in 2000. Dr. Jarvis teaches improvement strategies that reinforce a person’s motivation.  This method is based on his experience as a TBI Survivor, a teacher, a principal, college professor in Education, and co-leader of a TBI Support Group.  His academic study in Education and personal understanding of the effects of a brain injury has provided an opportunity to apply motivational strategies to foster improvement during home rehabilitation.

A 'Magic Man' at heart and practice, the good doctor likes to see folks laugh, as well as seriously do his TBI gift of teaching and life coaching Brain Injury Survivors.  Though is regular hummor is geared towards recovery, you KNOW mine is to.  I'm just more of a PG-13 guy.  OK, R occasionally.

Call in towards the beginning of the show, to listen and talk with Dr. Jarvis.  (424) 243-9540.  Let's talk humor, it creates social skills.  Rolls from there.
