In honor of Brain Injury Awareness we will revisit two previous guests of Brain Injury Round Table. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to the amazing Cheryl Kempf and the intrepid Tai Campbell. Tonight we catch up with these two survivors for updates on their selfless advocacy since their last appearance on the show.
Cheryl is Chair of the Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council for the state of Texas. She also shares her story with audiences in an effort to inspire awareness and motivate change. Under her leadership the council has been involved changing the world for brain injury survivors through new legislation. Our other very special guest tonight is Tai Campbell, a survivor of two severe childhood brain injuries. Tai is a tireless activist who is leading the effort to take back his community by empowering the youth of his community to create a better world. Since his last appearance on the show he has lobbied business and civic leaders to expand job development.
