Gentlemen, start your engines!  John Mills, Dr. Butterfield and more professional racing drivers will join TMDS tonight, in explaination of the trauma already built in behind the wheel - before the start of the race.  Are Race Car Drivers aware of the possible complications of being the fastest?  Yes, kinda.  But like any pro, in any profession, they are out to do their best - regardless of the 'chuck holes' in the way.  And in racing, where the up-close speeds, dramatic side-by-side racing can take its toll even with helmets and all the safety put into the cars, folks still crash and burn. A helmet or harness straps don't necessarily stop the sudden impact, causing a shift in the brain. Fans eww and ahhh, but once the debris is cleared, if's back to racin'.

John Mills is returning to Trans-Am racing, after a horrific wreck at Mid-Ohio Speedway in 2008. You'll enjoy his talks, his story, his survival and effort.  And our recent efforts!  John is prepared to return behind the wheel of Trans-Am Auto Racing and, well, as the legendary Tom Carnigie would say "And He's ON IT!"

With Dr. Kevin Butterfield, we wish to coordinate and discuss our efforts to do just that.  Me? "Race4Time.org" but one baby step at a time, such all TBI recovery.  The sanctioning bodies, race tracks, TBI Survivors Network, Brain Injury Network, TMDS and all of us in concern will unite our engines. By GOD, after all this work and effort, its time to stick Brain Injury Radio onto the Starting Grid and "they're off!"  (424) 243-9540 to talk, from 10 pm tonight until late.  I'll be on the track until 2 am (EDT), finishing up my first 8-hour radio endurance race this weekend. Anybody seen that Caution Flag?
