Fantastic Frank interviews Paul Ceretto.  Paul is honored to have been chosen as one the writers in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries. Being a victim of “the silent epidemic” himself, this is a topic that is close to his heart. Always eager to bring awareness to the subject, Paul is happy to part of the project.

Paul suffered a TBI in September of 2008 after a lifetime of substance abuse problems. He says that “The brain injury has been my saving grace. Unlike most people who suffer a TBI, it has been a
lifesaver.” Paul believes his life has never been so fulfilling. Since he has been out of the hospital, he has written a book about his TBI and the wonderful people that helped him see a new way. “The therapists and nurses are all my friends now as I communicate with most of them regularly.” Paul operates his own website and is involved in many musical projects with people from around the world. He continues to write and is writing his first novel at this time. Paul continues his education by taking enrichment courses at local colleges. Paul says, “I have allowed the TBI to define me with
its powerful truth.”
