THIS WEEK:  Memorial Day:  What does it mean to you?

Memorial Day marks the day Americans observe and honor service members who have fought in wars and died. It is customary to fly the flag half-staff until noon, put flags or flowers on grave sites, visit monuments dedicated to the armed forces, and march in parades. To celebrate this National holiday, many families head out to the beach, park, camping ground or their own backyards for a day of grilling and eating, fun in the sun, and relaxing, thanks to the many men and women who have died for our freedom to enjoy such activities.

On tonight’s show, as we honor and appreciate those who died serving our country, let us honor former selves, pre-TBI. While the holiday is dedicated to the Armed Forces, let it be a reminder for ourselves to commemorate our lives before our brain injury and celebrate who we have become since.  Kevin will share his insights about the celebration of Memorial Day and the special meaning it has to him since his TBI.  Join him tonight at 7:00pm PDT and help Kevin celebrate the true meaning of honor with the "Marvelous Maggie" (Kevin's 24/7 Care Partner).
