This week LesPaul is Meeting up with BIR founder, Craig Sicilia (meeting for the first time!) at the APRIL (Association of Programs for Rural Independent living) Conference, in Tulsa Oklahoma.
The Empowerment Zone was created to help empower people with disabilities to be able to live, Love, Work just like anyone else. We aren’t asking for a hand out but instead a hand up and to be treated as equals in society and that means people with disabilities living a self directed and self determent life!
For far too long people with disabilities have lived in the back ground but with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) we have laws and regulations designed to provide equal access for all so get ready to ne encouraged, and Inspired because we have some great shows planned so get ready to touch the future because the Empowerment Zone has arrived so join me and an exhibiting array of guests and topics!
