The Americans with disabilities Act was created to give people with disabilities a voice and a place where people of all back grounds, Nationalities, and abilities could come together under one concept that is that all people everywhere deserve freedom and personal choice no matter what!

The ADA recognizes and protects the civil rights of people with disabilities and is modeled after earlier landmark laws prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race and gender.  It was signed into law by George H.W. Bush on July 26, 1990.  The ADA covers a wide range of disability, from physical conditions affecting mobility, stamina, sight, hearing, and speech to conditions such as emotional illness and learning disorders.

The Empowerment Zone was created to help empower people with disabilities to be able to live, Love, Work just like anyone else. We aren’t asking for a hand out but instead a hand up and to be treated as equals in society and that means people with disabilities living a self directed and self determent life!

For far too long people with disabilities have lived in the back ground but with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) we have laws and regulations designed to provide equal access for all so get ready to ne encouraged, and Inspired because we have some great shows planned so get ready to touch the future because the Empowerment Zone has arrived so join me and an exhibiting array of guests and topics!
