American Music Therapy Association - Dream Catchers - Les Paul.

The AMTA's purpose is the progressive development of the therapeutic use of music in rehabilitation, special education, and community settings. Predecessors, unified in 1998, included the National Association for Music Therapy founded in 1950 and the American Association for Music Therapy founded in 1971. AMTA is committed to the advancement of education, training, professional standards, credentials, and research in support of the music therapy profession

Guests tonight will be Karen M. Skipper of Orange Coast Music Therapy and others from AMTA. (She will come on in the 3rd hour of BIRN) and other Music Theriapsts and team members from the AMTA so join us too!

Music Terapy is an amazing recovery tool for Brain Injury and all types of disabilities so join us tonight We will hopefuly be speaking with several people who have dedicated their life to Music Therapy especially their Director of Communications and Conferences Al Bumanis.
