DREAM CATCHERS-MINDING YOUR MATTER!

Hosted  by: Les Paul Morgan

A human brain is made up of 10% fat and the consistency of the brain is that of warm butter! The nerve fibres in your brain are wrapped with a fatty sheath. The sheath acts as an insulator to the nerves and allows electrical impulses to travel quickly. There are several layers of membranes that also cover the brain with fluid in between to protect from bumps on the head.

We act like it is invincible, indestructible and totally capable to taking a major blow or concussion with little damage while say driving your car car and you have a collision or ridding you bike with out a helmet.

Far to many people who felt indestructible have walked or rolled into my life as TBI survivors  who have either lost someone in an accident or they are struggling through life trying to recover the abilities they have lost or struggle with the new person they are now.

Join me tonight as we search for real solutions from real survivors on our journey to a better future.

Les Paul Morgan, brings his unique stories and sharing s to those living with brain injury, Les is a survivor and a support group facilitator for the Brain Injury Association in Georgia and South Carolina as well works at a state independent living center.  Les has a positive out look and has much to share about his journey dealing with brain injury for many years.  Les is also on the board of directors for the TBI Survivors Network helping build strong survivor lead groups all over the world.  Les will motivate you, make you think and leave you feeling inspired.
