LIVING OUT LOUD
March is brain injury awareness month. As far as we have came we have a long way to go. People do not understand, or know how prevalent brain injury is and the diverse effects it has on society. We will be having several guests on what they are doing to create awareness in their communities,m from big to small way every little thing we can do to bring know knowledge to our disability. My perspective is that to many people have created big business on us for to many years, talking our experience and journey our of our souls and have had the power one what is going to happen to us.
SEVERAL INTERVIEWS OF SOME AMAZING PEOPLE who have reached thousand of people and are bringing our community together.
My goal is for us to be the catalyst of change that we the survivors control our destiny, I believe that we are our own best experts on what we need. Many times professionals are causing as much harm to us as the disability it self. We the brain injury community need to be united and I believe it has been professionals that have oppressed us for centuries proclaiming they are the experts.
We will talk about some of the awareness projects that have brought awareness to brain injury what has worked and what hasn't as well as the TBI Global Picnic happening all around the world how you can get involved and create awareness in your community
