Kiwanis clubs, located in 80 nations, help their communities in countless ways. Each community's needs are different—so each Kiwanis club is different. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things happen.
A service heart: Service is at the core of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it's located. Members host nearly 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. Kiwanis raises awareness of the needs in the community and around the world and works with other like-minded people to help with solutions.
Generations of commitment: Many clubs sponsor a Kiwanis family club—K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Club for adolescents; Key Club for teens; CKI clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities. There are also teen leadership weekend retreats, literacy programs, Bring Up Grades programs, Terrific Kids character development programs, and more!
