Spotlight Jewel Grutman and George Putnam

Prejudice ,racism,hate and injustice are some of the issues faced by the characters in this novel. The Plains Indians and the African community in this novel face indignities, cruelties and injustice inflicted by a Sheriff and group of selected people running the town. Nan  Carew and and Indisn named Hunting  and a young black boy named Lije   team up to right the wrongs but along the way there are betrayals,deceptions and murders.
