Gumbo Talk: You can't know peace by crossing your fingers.

Nowadays there seems to be a lowered work ethic amongst people in general. There is a sense amongst many that peace will find them in their midst of trouble. Peace exist, but it is in a place few dare to go: deep inside themselves. Wishing and hoping is good, but having a path to freedom shown to you by tried and true efforts is a best practice. I believe we were given everything we need from our birthright. Once we learn how to tap into our inner sanctum we will find what we were looking for. Meanwhile, others are keeping their fingers crossed that peace will somehow blow in the wind toward them and slap them in the face. I have found peace, lost peace, and regained it. It is my sincere desire that during this episode we find our peace and dwell in it.
