Improve Parent/Child Relationships with Conscious Parenting with John Edwards from Melbourne Australia

John Edwards was raised by an alcoholic father and a traumatized but loving mother.  It may easily be assumed that with such a turbulent childhood John would be the exemplary father, but that was not the case.  As John's own parenting spiralled out of control he lost his temper and nearly hit his own child.  At that point John knew that it was time for him to become  the parent that his children deserved him to be.

Every parent wants the best for their child and John Edwards was no different.  However the environment that he was raised in, created by his own parents not only resulted in a lack of a positive parenting role model but was also a context of fear.

John Edwards has 18 years of high school teaching experience through which time he has taught approximately 10,000 teen-aged children between 12-18 years old.  He has approximately 13,500 hours of classroom teaching and management and has spoken with approximately 6,500 parents.  When it comes to children, John knows his stuff.

He is the author of two books 'Press Escape' and 'Student Mind Power' and the author of many eBooks.  John has published on the subject of professional parenting development on various parenting web sites and publications.

John is also trained in Neuri Linguistic Programming (NLP).  He has a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma of Education.

John resides in Melbourne, Australia and is passionate about inspiring parents around the world to adopt a conscious parenting style, a way of parenting that is transformational for the whole family.
