Children's  Corner:  Tandy the Teddy Series; w/ Chely Schwartz

The Adventures of "Tandy The Teddy" are stories told by a little brown bear that lives in a school classroom.  Every Friday, Mrs. Macy. the teacher picks one student to take Tandy home for the weekend.  The stories are the "adventures" the children share with Tandy during there time together.

Chely Schwartz is a wife and mother of 3 grown children. When Chely's kids were small, she would read to them, and dream of one day writing stories of her own. Her children always had a vivid imagination. They would often make up story books of their own, written on school paper, and make their own illustrations to go along with them. She would then sit and listen so they could share "their" stories with her. She still has many of these books and treasures them. Books were always a wonderful bonding experience for all of them.

Now, Chely and her husband are semi-retired and have more time to devote to their dreams. She hopes to write a whole series of "Tandy The Teddy" adventures and leave a legacy for her family.
