NUMBERS 10:1-2 SILVER TRUMPETS MADE

1The Lord spoke further to Moses, saying, 2“Make yourself two trumpets of silver, of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and for having the camps set out.

                God gave Moses a command to make two silver trumpets which appears to be the last of God’s public policies for Israel as they began their journey from Mount Sinai.  These silver trumpets were not to be blown by inferior people.  They were to be blown by the two priests.  In Solomon’s day their were 120 silver trumpets.
