MC Rayvon -aka- Rayvon Da Legend has been a part of Harlem Hip Hop since 1978. He original came in the game as the lead MC for Harlem's legendary Super Group The Magnificent 7 (M7), and while his love for Hip Hop was unquestionalbe, like most during the late 70's and 80's he fell victim and was lured into the drug trade. This proved to be a terrible mistake on his behalf and after spending a total of 23 years in prison he was released in the fall of 2007. During all of the trials and tribulations he never relinquished his love for Hip Hop, and in the summer of 2009 he was approached by Actor Travis Jacobs who grew up listening to mix tape of Rayvon. Praises were extended and Travis suggested that he be allowed to produce and direct a Documentary film, detailing Rayvon's life. In 2010, for the first time in 30 years Rayvon found himself back in front of a mic, doing what most believe he was born to do. Harlem Mercy is the second release of his upcoming mix tape. Stay tune and follow Da Legend, trust me... you'll be glad you did!
