Non-Christian sources that are used to study and establish the historicity of Jesus include Jewish sources such as Josephus, and Roman sources such as Tacitus.
What books of the Bible did Josephus write?
Josephus leaves his final four books unnamed, describing them merely as 'hymns to God and precepts for the conduct of human life. ' In Rabbinic tradition, the Ketuvim comprise eleven books (Ruth, Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Lamentations, Daniel, Esther, Ezra, Chronicles).
